I am always on the look out for easy work wear pieces – because no matter how hard I try to manage my time in the mornings, I am always scrambling to get dressed. Cue the “throwing clothes over your shoulder proclaiming you have nothing to wear” phase…
A simple solution to this seems to pre-plan my outfits & lay everything out the night before (which I did used to do in high school by the way!) But the older I’ve gotten, the busier I have gotten & the planning has gone a bit out the door! So with that being said, I aim to purchase stylish, affordable, and EASY pieces that make getting dressed in the morning a pleasure!
This dress is all that & more. The subtle polka dot print, the v-neckline, the bell sleeves – somehow this dress manages to feel fun & flirty but also conservative all at the same time! I styled this dress a few ways — for work, I love it paired with a great nude block heel or a pointed stiletto come cooler weather! However this dress is also great with a fabulous pair of booties or knee high boots! The possibilities are endless! Unfortunately, this dress has sold out in a handful of sizes due to their summer sale, BUT I have linked some similar, as just as easy of options below!
I get a lot of questions on the sizing at H&M and I have found the best solution is to read the reviews as well as look at the sizing scale. I fluctuate between a size 2-6 depending on how “fitted” the item is. I purchased a size 4 in this dress & couldn’t be happier with the fit! It does NOT have a size zipper so it was a little snug clearing the ta-ta’s for me (just being real with y’all) but once those made it, I was in love! What I also love about H&M is that they offer free shipping over $40 so if you don’t know your size, order two sizes & you’ll likely qualify for free shipping! They always offer free returns via mail or in-store as well (which is what I usually do) so returning one size
will be a breeze!
